The Fastest Way to Build a Deck The Nuraspike is designed to be driven into the ground to support the adjustable Nurajack deck pedestal. The Nurajack Nuraspike system replaces traditional decking pile footing system.
The Nuraspike is a ground spike designed to be used as a deck footing to support low profile decks. Install with an adjustable Nurajack directly under joist or bearer to create a low-profile deck over grass or dirt.
The adjustable Nurajack (available in sizes from 28mm to 550mm) is placed on top of the Nuraspike. The Nuraspike installation does not require any digging or concreting.
The Nurajack can be placed anywhere on the top of the Nuraspike and with the Self-leveling head of the Nurajack, there is no need to exactly line up the Nurasapike or ensure the Nuraspike is level when installing. Once the Nuraspikes and Nurajacks are installed, the deck structure can be built.
PRECAUTIONS: • Check for in ground services where Nuraspike™ is being installed. • Not suitable for waterlogged, heavily compacted or rocky soil - if in doubt test the area first or check with a qualified engineer. • Use Nuraspike™ Hitting Plate (available separately). • Ensure deck complies with any relevant local or governmental building requirements. • Assemble Nuraspike™ completely before installation. • Follow timber suppliers specification for deck structure and placement of decking boards. • Nurajack™ Placement graph can be found on Nurajack™ box.
